Contract & Payment Structuring
We structure the supply contract for deferred payment: tenor (2–7 years), repayment schedule, down-payment, security package (sovereign guarantee / LC), and bank intermediation.
Commercial + Political Risk
Sovereign & Sovereign-Backed Deals
We specialize in structuring transactions for government ministries, port authorities, power utilities, roads agencies, health ministries, and water companies requiring Non-Honoring of Sovereign Obligations cover.

Bank Master Policy (LC Structure)
For private buyers: we structure Bank Master Policy (BMP) cover through your local commercial bank's Letter of Credit. Your bank opens the LC; the ECA insures the issuing bank against payment default.
For Private Sector Buyers
Credit Information & Due Diligence
We prepare buyer credit memoranda, project descriptions, and financial summaries to ECA underwriting standards, supporting a clearer approval review.
4–8 Week Approval Target
Multi-ECA Strategy
Where a single ECA is insufficient, we build co-insurance and reinsurance structures combining Arab, European, and Asian ECAs to maximise coverage capacity for large or complex transactions.
Co-Insurance · Reinsurance
Post-Closing Monitoring
We monitor payment flow compliance, provide early-warning default alerts, and facilitate communication between buyer, exporter, and the insuring agency during the deferred payment period.

ECAS Process

How an ECAS-Backed Deal Works

From initial enquiry to capital goods delivery: a structured 4-step process managed entirely by ECAS.

1
Buyer Sends Enquiry
You tell us what capital goods you need, indicative contract value, and your country. ECAS assesses your eligibility at no cost.
2
Exporter Matched & Contract Signed
ECAS introduces 2–3 compatible exporters from eligible countries. You negotiate and sign a supply contract with deferred payment terms (2–7 years).
3
ECA Cover Policy Issued
ECAS submits and manages the ECA application. Export credit cover (up to 90% of contract value) is issued within 4–8 weeks.
4
Goods Delivered, Payments Begin
Exporter ships under ECA cover. Buyer makes scheduled deferred payments. ECAS charges its 3% fee upon ECA policy issuance.
Modern interior workspace
